i'm so sorry it's been so long. i've been busy with classes, and to be honest i haven't felt all that inspired to make a blog post.
as i'm sure you all know i can hardly wait for winter. the last couple of days were pretty warm, but today the sky is grey and there is a crisp breeze flowing through my window, i couldn't be more excited. i've also developed a list of things i'd like to get for winter, so i thought what better excuse to make a blog post than to share with you my winter wish list.

winter inspiration

here in australia summer has a habit of lasting a lot longer than it should. personally, i much prefer the cold. as the sun swelters on, i'm focussing on the coming autumn and winters seasons. i've already made a few predated purchases, and i can't wait to pair basic dresses and skirts with large coats, hats, knee socks, ankle boots and dr martens.

designer love: the row

i've recently come across the brand the row, established my mary-kate and ashley olsen in 2006, and i'm loving the muted colours and over-exagerated shapes. the structure of each garment is something i really gravitate towards. their fall 2014 ready-to-wear collection has got me pining for the colder months. here are some looks that particularly grabbed me.

recently, i've been exploring the idea of moving into my own place. although the thought scares me a little, i find it very exciting to think what it'd be like to have my own space to decorate in a way the reflects who i am. this is a collection of pictures that inspire me.
