sporty sneakers have been big in the fashion scene ever since they featured in the chanel spring 14 couture collection. sneakers have walked down the runway of other shows such as DKNY and karen walker alike, and now we're seeing them everywhere from the streets to the front row. they can be a tricky style to pull off, so i wanted to explore the many different ways to wear this new trend.

wrapped up

as i was looking through the pictures of the most recent fall 14 couture collections, i took note of the accessories used. such as the red gloves in armani prive, and the headscarves in giambattista valli. these headscarves gave the collection a somewhat european holiday vibe. the collection inspired be to start experimenting with headscarves, maybe the next time i'm having a bad hair day.

we've past the halfway mark of paris couture week and in the midst of all that decadence and chaos i came across the armani prive fall 2014 couture collection. armani made simple pieces bold and expensive, with a striking colour palette, tastefully exaggerated shapes and luxurious textures. here are my favourite looks from the collection
