we've past the halfway mark of paris couture week and in the midst of all that decadence and chaos i came across the armani prive fall 2014 couture collection. armani made simple pieces bold and expensive, with a striking colour palette, tastefully exaggerated shapes and luxurious textures. here are my favourite looks from the collection

ever since i saw a picture of Kylie Jenner sporting a slinky teddy under a floor length kimono i was obsessed with the idea of wearing lingerie as casual wear. i love the sultry, playful vibe of a lacy chemise, and when paired with the right outerwear it can make a really cute outfit.

i know it's been a while, i'm sorry i'm getting so slack with posting. i'll try to make it up soon.
here are the purchases i've made over the time since my last new editions posts. i'm so excited for all these items that i've been yearning for, and a few extras, i was finally able to find just the right leather jacket, distressed boyfriend jeans and small black bag.

currently craving: leather jackets and boyfriend jeans

i've been on the hunt for the perfect leather jacket since autumn, and it's finally starting to get cold enough to wear one now so i hope to find it soon. now i know that boyfriend jeans were big last year, but I'm told that they're here to stay, which is great for me because i've really warmed to them recently and i'd love to find a pair that i can wear with my vintage oversized denim jacket to try out the double denim look, as well as the leather jacket i will soon own, one day.
